Relay is one cute little dude! This young boy came into rescue with some help from the fantastic staff at the Brydges & Taylor Veterinary Hospital. Relay is a bit of a shy boy, but it doesn't take him long to make friends! He really enjoys the other animals in his foster home, and seems to follow their lead quite readily. Relay leaves the cats in his foster home alone, unless one of the cats tries to play with him or one of the other dogs is bugging one of the cats - then he's gotta check things out! Relay does seem a little shy and uncertain in new situations, but the other dogs really seem to help him figure things out. He wasn't sure about going in and out of the house or car, but once the other dogs came to show him how it was done, he caught on really quickly! He really loves other dogs and has done wonderfully at the dog park, playing with the new dogs he meets there too! Relay is even shy about coming when called, and things like getting a collar put on - but with a little time and patience, he warms up and is progressing rapidly in his foster home! Relay does well in his crate, and is very clean when kenneled. He does need some housebreaking work and still isn't too sure how the whole "leash thing" works - but he is learning so much everyday - we'll update his description again soon! All in all Relay is a happy, friendly fella who wants to please and really seeks approval from his people. He wants so badly to be a good boy, and is ready for that specail forever family to call his own. (Indoor Home Only!)
